Fast reel change
Reels can be wound 60 percent faster on a MIDEX-RA rotary arm winder than on a turret winder. For that reason, MIDEX-RA winders are especially suited for the production of finished reels ready for conversion, without the need for previous slitting/rewinding on a separate machine.
Horizontal MIDEX-HS slide winder
Reel diameters of up to 1200 mm
Operators of metallizers who do not have to change reels frequently can particularly benefit from shifting to big reel diameters. With diameters enlarged from 1000 mm to 1200 mm they can obtain 45 percent more running meters.

Reducing raw material costs
With REIcofeed 2.1 feedblock you will be able to adjust the individual layers, including the core layer, during production. That allows you to minimize scrap of expensive raw materials. Thanks to tight tolerances, all layers can be produced thinner and thus more cost-effectively.

Producing micro-embossed surfaces
Produce non-breathable hygiene film with a micro-embossed surface. Embossing gives the film a convenient soft touch and avoids rustling noises when being moved.
Excellent transparency, stiffness and good barrier properties: that is what characterizes non-oriented PET cast films. The reduced size and output of cast film lines make them a true alternative to classical BOPET lines.
REItruder
Energy-efficient direct extrusion
The co-rotating REItruder twin-screw extruder can process PET without energy-intensive pre-drying and crystallization. That saves 100 to 150 W/kg, depending on the drying system.
Sensitive and high-quality surfaces as well as demanding products such as highly transparent displays of mobile phones, are protected by films during transport and assembly.

Production of film almost free from gels
Foreign particles can cause defects in the film and, in the worst case, eliminate the surface protection. These defects can be avoided by specific technologies for dedusting the pellet raw material, by gas injection into the extruder and special melt filters.
